Celebrating Ostara and the Spring Equanox

Ostara’s date falls on March 20, 2026 and new life is sprouting up all around us! The snow has melted the greenery is returning the trees and despite some chill in the air, we know spring is here! The traditional start of the year for many practices and cultures, Ostara Celebrates the new life and opportunities in this season of Rebirth with symbols such as rabbits, eggs, spring flowers and chicks. Significant Colors for the holiday are varying pastels, Purple, Yellow and, of course, Bright Green.

Ritual and Community

Celebrate Ostara with a community gathering, a public ritual and a potluck! Please bring an offering for the altar by collecting something from nature that reminds you of spring. You will not be getting these back from the ritual. Please be mindful with your foraging not to cause any harm to the local fauna. Feel free to bring light refreshments for the potluck and your tarot cards or other divination tools to share in the tea and divination social once the ritual has ended.
